Skarsgård looking for love
Now Alexander Skarsgård is looking for more mature roles - and for love.

It has been two hectic years for Alexander Skarsgård. The 29 year old star has been travelling between jobs in Gothenburg, Los Angeles, Skåne, Romania, USA again and Stockholm.
Alexander Skarsgård is now filming the Swedish movie "Exit" and is ending another filming in South Africa next month.
November 11 "Om Sara" premieres in the cinemas. Here Alexander Skarsgård plays a football professional, and Sara's boyfriend.
- Football is a passion so it was incredibly cool to hang out with Malmö FF, he says when Aftonbladet meets him at Hotell Esplanad in Stockholm.
Believe in love
But mostly the movie is about finding yourself and daraing to believe in love.
Alexander Skarsgård is single himself.
- It`s easy to blame the fact that you work too much. But if it happens it happens, it wouldn`t matter if you worked on the moon.
And the hope of love is not something he is giving up on.
- I look out for someone every day. I do like my situation, but I think that all single people are always looking for someone.
But he is tired of the image of himself as single - and as movie good-looker.
Has your looks been to your disadvantage?
- Yes, it really has. I god the hunk-label early on and there was more focus on exercise tips than talent. When you have that label you are easily considered unserious.
More mature roles
This is why he has been active in is choice of other types of roles.
- I want to do more mature roles, with no focus on looks.
Same thing with sex scenes.
- If they serve a purpose, it feels OK.
- But if they are marketed as "Come and check out Alexander Skarsgård`s butt", I`m saying no.
