Alexander Skarsgård changed his mind when father Stellan had fixed a part.

After conscription service Alexander Skarsgård had enough of Sweden and moved to Leeds in England. He lived there with cockroaches on the floor and shared bathroom with a psychopath. Now he's back in Sweden, currently in the soap "Vita lögner" and the upcoming movie "Happy end".

81 in pulse.
- I never take my pulse. But it seems OK. There is quite a lot to do right now.
Your father (Stellan Skarsgård) is an actor. Now you are on your way to succeed. Is that your dream profession?
- No, I don't know. Right now I guess it is. But in a few years I might be doing something completely different.
After your conscription service, you moved to England. Why?
- I felt I had to get away from Sweden for a while. So it was Leeds in Northern England for half a year. There were really contrasts. The cockroaches were everywhere and I shared bathroom with a psychopath.
Then you moved to New York for a while too?
- Yes, that was really cool. I went to theater school there. When I was younger, I didn't want to become an actor. It was enough that my father was. Then I changed my mind. I recorded a video when we were in England and sent it to the school. I never thought I would get inn.
Now you are in the soap Vita lögner. You never doubted accepting that?
- Yes, I definitely did. When they called the first time, I said no directly, and I didn't even want to come over for an audition. When they called again, I went and auditioned. And it was really cool. I got to change my character a little after how I wanted it to look.
You are six siblings at home in different ages. Is it difficult to keep the family together?
- Not, it's just fun. Sometimes when you come home there are little children screaming in one end of the apartment and in the other there are teenagers sleeping. But it's the way it should be. Sometimes when my father is out in the world and recording a movie, we come and say hello. We were in Mexico for a month not long ago. That was supercool.
Honestly, isn't it easier to become an actor when your last name is Skarsgård?
- That depends on how you look at it. My first part that I got when I was seven years old, I got that one because of my father. But after that I got the part because of my acting in the first movie. You get paranoid if you are walking around thinking like that all the time. You have to believe in yourself. And I really hope no one takes me because of my last name.
Do you have a girlfriend?
- No, not at the moment. I guess I haven't found the right one yet.
What does your future look like?
- The first Vita lögner episodes are in February. Then there's premiere on Kristin Olofsson's movie Happy End, where I act, this spring.

Profession: Actor
Lives: On Söder in Stockholm
Earns: Enough to get by

Pulse at rest: When I'm out in the nature. Or at our country house on Öland. There are no cars and no noise.

Hot pulse: When I went to second grade and found a note in my pocket. It was from the most beautiful girl in the world and was a love letter.

Work pulse: That's when the pulse is pretty uneven. It goes up and down all the time.

Max pulse: When I'm making something really niggling. I can`t do that. You are so focused all the time.
